Significa Era e Estava. O verbo to be, no passado é divido em 2 tipos:
WAS – WERE
Sujeito da frase + to be + complemento
Exemplo
She was tall
She was happy
They were famous
They were nervous
Adicione o NOT depois do verbo to be.
Sujeito da frase + to be + not + complemento
Exemplo
She was not tall
She was not happy
They were not famous
They were not nervous
Coloque o Verbo to be antes do sujeito
To be +Sujeito da frase + complemento + ?
Exemplo
Was She tall ?
Was She happy ?
Were They famous ?
Were They nervous ?
